Food Manager Certification
and Re-Certification

The State of Minnesota requires a Minnesota Certified Food Manager in most food establishments. Food manager certification is administered by the Minnesota Department of Health.

If you are already a Certified Food Manager you must be re-certified once every 3 years.

The next Food Manager Renewal Course given by Aitkin County is (April 16, 2019).   Click here for information. Click here for registration form. Please submit applications by (April 2nd, 2019) if you plan to attend.

Aitkin County Environmental Services is a MDH approved supplier and periodically gives free training for certification and re-certification. The only prerequisite is that your business is located in Aitkin County or that you are employed by an Aitkin County-based business. Aitkin County will offer these classes on an annual basis.
